ACCS Generic Skills Day

If you would like to attend this day you will need to register your interest by emailing ACCSClinicalskillsday@gmail.com, quoting:

 -Your Name

- Your year of ACCS (CT1/CT2/CT3 or equivalent ST year) 

- Your base hospital

-Any dietary requirements

This skills day will allow you to obtain sign-off (not DOPS, just sign-off) in your ACCS curriculum booklets for the following essential procedures:

DC Cardioversion

External Pacing

Abdominal Paracentesis

Open Chest Drain

Pleural Aspiration

Seldinger Chest Drain

(and possibly Intra-osseous Access... TBC) 

Please register for the day ASAP - the deadline for registration is Thur 28th Oct.

In the event of course oversubscription, priority will be given to trainees currently in their CT2 year. The course directors will reply to emails to confirm to those who have secured a place. 

Please bring your ACCS Booklet on the day (if you have one!).
